In the last decade, the field of cosmetic surgery has virtually exploded with advances in technology and available products. This means that you have many more options to improve your appearance than were available even a few years ago. A few examples would be newer less invasive lasers for skin rejuvenation, Botox® for fine lines and wrinkles, and less allergenic soft tissue fillers.

Part of my job as a plastic surgeon is to make sure that I am aware of all that is available and discern which advances are both safe and effective. In addition to my plastic surgery training, I spent an additional year of fellowship training in laser surgery which gives me a unique perspective and the expertise to critically evaluate new advances and laser technology.
